About Us

Distinctability are a leading provider of Disability Assistive Technologies consultancy and educational services in Canada – and probably the only such specialist service provider in Nova Scotia.
With a key focus on neurodiversity, intellectual disabilities and mental health support if you are looking to move towards a more inclusive employment strategy, if you are an educator looking to support students, or a service provider looking to incorporate technologies to help capacity or change support models, then we can help.
We offer organizations unrivalled advice and experience around the technologies that are available, how to select them, implement them and support them. If you are supporting new or existing employees, to cope with today’s labour challenges and improve retention rates, if you are looking to support students through the pressures of study, or to accelerate independence or rehabilitation in individuals, the role of technology is rapidly evolving – and that’s where we come in.
Our Educational and Learning Services are a core feature of our services too, offering courses and modules for staff education and development and bespoke services to help create and deploy eLearning or blended learning to staff or clients.
Autism+Neurodiversity at Work is a unique 5 module multi-media learning series for organizations preparing for a more neurodiverse workforce.
Care As You Are is a multi-media learning series designed for those supporting the thousands of Carers in our communities.
There are many more examples of our courses, bespoke development and our webinars.
