Join us for our third annual Economic Engine Event: Unlocking Productivity on March 18th, 2025. This event intends to showcase a positive, realistic, and optimistic narrative of where Nova Scotia’s economy is heading through the perspective of political leaders, industry experts, and economic professionals. With this year’s forum focusing on Nova Scotia’s wanning productivity levels, we intend to explore how our region can unlock private sector investments, leverage new technologies, and reduce internal trade barriers.

Workshop Overview: Diversity in the workplace drives innovation, reduces turnover, and boosts business resilience. Employers can attract top talent and build stronger organizations by fostering inclusive environments. In partnership with Hire for Talent, this session equips employers and HR professionals with the tools to confidently recruit, retain, and support employees with disabilities. In this 1-hour-long session, participants will learn about essential disability awareness concepts, implementing workplace accommodations, inclusive onboarding and recruitment techniques, and how to utilize workplace inclusion partnerships.
