Solutions Learning Centre, the operating name for the Dartmouth Work Activity Society, has been helping people succeed since 1980. Our work activity programs offer training that allows participants to develop job specific skills. Our programs are ongoing throughout the year with continuous application dates and offered at no cost. Work activity programs exist in communities to help adults overcome obstacles and barriers to employment. Through a series of engaging activities, both independent and in small groups, participants are able to develop skills and prepare for the world of work. Work activity programs follow adult learning principles and provide judgment free and supportive environments.

Solutions Learning Centre has helped thousands of people gain the skills they need to find meaningful employment with our free program that offers up to 30 weeks of training and assistance. We believe that people from all backgrounds, education levels and life experience deserve a chance to succeed, and we work together to make that a reality.

Our program focuses on you as an individual. We work with you to complete a plan unique to your strengths and personal goals. Our employment readiness programs occur in small group settings allowing for one on one support and individual growth and success. Participants work closely with our team to learn job specific skills.
