The Halifax Mooseheads franchise is currently playing in its 31st season. The team joined the QMJHL as an expansion franchise in 1994 and became the first organization in the league to be based outside of the province of Quebec. Since then, the Mooseheads have become a powerhouse for producing top end NHL talent with 13 first round draft picks including the likes of Nathan MacKinnon, Nico Hichier, Alex Tanguay, Jakub Voracek and many more. The team has attracted more than 7-million fans through the gates in regular season history, making the Mooseheads once of the most popular teams in the entirety of the CHL.
