Born & raised in the heart of Halifax in 1981 by the Colwell family. One of the longest operating menswear stores in Canada. Pioneer, soldier and humanitarian, Henry S. Colwell was the founding president of Colwell's. He started the business by selling fine furs from around the world & custom- made top hats. Still in the Colwell family, with 6th generation involved. Our expertise starts in detailed men's clothing, including suits and casual wear made in Canada & Europe.
