LUNCHEON: Healthcare Modernization and Aging in Place
Presented By
As the oldest baby boomers get closer to 80, they are having a profound influence and impact on healthcare delivery and capacity. The generation who redefined what aging means is universally intent on staying healthy and independent.
The Nova Scotia Government has taken a leadership role in Canada to address the current capacity challenges in healthcare and begin to transform the system. More specifically, the Department of Seniors and Long-term care has been taking an innovative and evidence-based approach to identify and address some of the most challenging issues in Long-Term Care, Home Support, and Community Care.
Join us on October 3rd to hear more about the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care’s approach, and how VON and Northwood are translating their priorities into innovative programs and services that are making real impact for Nova Scotians.
