The Halifax Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer a round of FREE online training programs to help grow your business in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour, Skills, and Immigration.
These training sessions are in high demand. Please only register if you are 100% committed to fully participating in this training. This is a 40 hour course and you will be required to participate in 80% of the sessions in order to receive the certificate.

TRAINING OVERVIEW:
Microsoft 365 training is a 10 week program that will start on, Wednesday, September 18 and take place once per week every WEDNESDAY from 1:00PM - 5:00PM.Microsoft 365 Training Summary:
If you want to work seamlessly with Microsoft 365, this program is an ideal place to start. You’ll learn about the Cloud and Cloud storage, strategies for online security, and managing email in the Cloud and on various devices. To complete this program, you’ll also learn how to work with forms, calendar, contacts, note taking tools and more as well navigating document, spreadsheet and presentation apps.Learning Outcomes:

TRAINING TIMELINE:

To sign up for the training, you must complete the required registration fields, which are required by the Department of Labour Skills & Immigration.

Once we receive your completed form, your information will be provided to your trainer and they will contact you to complete an Individual Needs Assessment to ensure this training is the right fit for you and your business.

Your trainer will then become your point of contact for the training and they will provide you with the information on how to join the sessions each week.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS:

The program must be taken on a computer, laptop, or tablet, no phones.

Participants must have a reliable Internet connection.

Headphones with a microphone and a webcam.

Participants must display video; required to ensure the connection to the instructor and other participants.

A quiet place, free of distractions.
