Join Halifax’s planning and development department to hear more about the Centre Plan and how it will strengthen our downtown core and support our continued growth as a city.
The Centre Plan is a planning process for the Regional Centre, including Peninsula Halifax and Dartmouth inside the Circumferential Highway. This webinar will provide an overview of the Centre Plan planning process and both the existing (Package A) and proposed (Package B) policies and regulations that will guide the growth and developing of the Regional Centre.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Community Policy Program Manager, Halifax Regional Municipality
Ben Sivak is the Community Policy Program Manager with the Halifax Regional Municipality’s Planning and Development Department. Ben has been a municipal planner for over 16 years after receiving an undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Toronto and Masters of Urban and Rural Planning from Dalhousie University.
Through his work, Ben has led a wide variety of planning initiatives ranging from individual buildings sites to region wide policies and regulations that shape the sustainable growth our urban and rural communities.
