Lydia Bugden, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner, Stewart McKelvey
As the first female CEO of a law firm in Atlantic Canada, Lydia has a bold outlook and tenacious attitude. She combines her experience as a corporate lawyer with effective leadership skills and a forward-thinking belief in innovation to lead the Firm and support growth and prosperity in our region. Lydia is an ardent supporter of her community, serving as president, chair and board member of over half a dozen esteemed organizations, including the QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation and Develop Nova Scotia.







Ashley Kielbratowski, Co-Founder & Head of Product, Harbr

Ashley is a Co-Founder of Harbr, an innovative project coordination software company built for retail construction. Harbr?s mission is to make it as simple as possible for retailers to build anywhere at scale while maintaining complete control of their brand and keeping everyone in sync throughout the construction process.


Ashley completed a Diploma in Interior Decoration & Design at Eastern College and began working for a real estate development company straight out of college. Working with tradespeople on site gave her insight into many aspects of the construction industry, including the challenges and opportunities involved in completing large-scale projects.

Ashley leads Product at Harbr and is also tasked with ensuring that the team at Harbr sets and achieves goals collectively. Ashley understands the value of working as a team and that cohesiveness and teamwork is what Harbr provides to its customers each and every day.

 


Lauren Sears, Managing Director, Common Good Solutions
Lauren Sears is a committed entrepreneur and emerging leader in the social innovation and enterprise sector in Canada. She's the Managing Director of Common Good Solutions, a growing consulting and training firm currently doing business in over a dozen countries, as well as co-founder of P4G, a CIC focused on attracting and retaining youth in Atlantic Canada.
 
Lauren is keenly interested in developing and supporting young people through entrepreneurship and sport. She's a Director at 100 Seed$ Atlantic, an alternate board member of S4ES Canada, a member of the implementation committee for the NS Social Enterprise Strategy, a Director at Volleyball Nova Scotia and assistant coach of Saint Mary's University women's volleyball team. 





Ashley McConnell-Gordon, Benjamin Bridge
Ashley McConnell-Gordon is Vice President of Benjamin Bridge, a Nova Scotia family winery founded in the Gaspereau Valley in 1999. At Benjamin Bridge, Ashley leads the daily operations and, overall, is responsible for the strategic growth of the business.


After completing her Bachelor of Laws degree at Dalhousie University in May 2009, she and her sister, Devon McConnell-Gordon, joined Benjamin Bridge full-time in early 2010, in time for the inaugural release of its traditional method sparklings (its 2004 vintages). Since then, Ashley has championed the expansion of its wine markets outside of Nova Scotia, across Canada and in select international cities to elevate Benjamin Bridge's reputation for quality in order to change consumer perceptions locally, grow wine tourism, and diversify markets for Nova Scotia wine. Ashley is most passionate about having assembled a talented team that shares Benjamin Bridge's values for quality and innovation, rural community, and environmentally-sustainable practices.
