Workshop: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging
PLEASE NOTE: This training has eligibility requirements for participation listed below - please read carefully
This training session will help participants understand why equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion are essential to building strong, resilient, and competitive workplaces. Participants will explore how inclusive cultures support employee engagement, trust, innovation, and long-term business success, particularly in a changing workforce where expectations around fairness and belonging continue to rise.
The session will build awareness of gender equity, diversity, and inclusion by examining real workplace experiences, unconscious bias, privilege, and systemic barriers that affect participation and opportunity. Participants will learn what it means to create a workplace where all employees feel valued, supported, and able to contribute fully, regardless of gender or background.
Participants will also gain practical insights into the business case for DEAI, including how equitable organizations outperform their peers, attract and retain talent, and foster healthier work environments. By the end of the session, learners will have a clearer understanding of their individual and organizational roles in promoting equity and inclusion, along with actionable ideas they can apply to help create more inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplaces.
