FREE ONLINE TRAINING: Change Management
The Halifax Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer a round of FREE online training programs to help grow your business in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour, Skills, and Immigration.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT TRAINING SUMMARY:
Date: Every Thursday starting on Thursday May 1, 2025.

Change Management provides you with a step-by-step approach to designing, implementing and leading a change management process. By exploring various models for change management, you will be able to choose an approach that works best for your specific project and work environment. In addition, you will be able to develop a communications plan tailored to your own change project and learn skills for anticipating and overcoming common obstacles as well as how to manage change fatigue.

ABOUT THE TRAINER:
Marc Zirka, Strategy Up
An experienced strategist and entrepreneur in the business field focusing on technology and ICT as an enabler to any vertical. Marc has been running his own consulting firm Strategy Up, which he established in 2014. Strategy Up is 100% Canadian company based in Halifax (Nova Scotia), where he is advising and assisting Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) and startup companies to become successful.
Marc is an expert in Corporate Strategy, Commercial Operations, Marketing & Sales Strategy coupled with a solid understanding of Corporate Finance and Strategic Investment.
Prior to running his own business, Marc assumed several executive roles, sitting on management boards and committees of different companies in several parts of the world. To name a few, Marc worked with France Telecom, KPMG, Digicel, Bakcell and Cable & Wireless.
Marc has 25 years of experience in 4 different continents, where he followed his passion in North America, Africa, Asia and Europe.
TRAINING TIMELINE:

To sign up for the training, you must complete the required registration fields, which are required by the Department of Labour Skills & Immigration.

Once we receive your completed form, your information will be provided to your trainer and they will contact you to complete an Individual Needs Assessment to ensure this training is the right fit for you and your business.

Your trainer will then become your point of contact for the training and they will provide you with the information on how to join the sessions each week.
IMPORTANT NOTES:These training sessions are in high demand. Please only register if you are 100% committed to fully participating in this training. This is a 40 hour course and you will be required to participate in 80% of the sessions in order to receive the certificate.
