The co-owners Colin Sword and Susan Maylin have over 25 years of leasing and property management experience and work with a dedicated and enthusiastic team. Once your property is leased, ongoing management is optional. It offers you peace of mind knowing you have optimal rental income, excellent tenants, and access 24-7 to a password protected on line account for your property information, statements and leases. Property management includes rent collection, inspections, financial reporting, problem solving, and scheduling repair and maintenance with the goal of keeping your property income producing and well cared for. We have a retainer of trusted, reasonable, but independent contractors that are available quickly to deal with emergencies or perform scheduled maintenance.
The leasing service includes advertising your property, showing of properties by experienced leasing agents, thorough screening of tenants, and negotiating and signing a legal Nova Scotia lease with the tenants that have been approved by you. There is no charge to you until a lease is finalized and deposits collected.
