Meet your speaker:
Michael High brings extensive international leadership experience across finance, treasury, and strategic planning. Prior to joining NAIT, he served as VP Finance at Parkland Fuel Corp. and Business Unit CFO for Royal Dutch Shell’s Deep Water Gulf of Mexico operations based in New Orleans. Before his corporate career, Michael served as a U.S. Army Officer.
A recognized leader within the finance profession, Michael has spoken at multiple AFP and FinNext conferences, contributed to the AFP FP&A Guide, participated in the AFP Conversations podcast series, and supported the FP&A Job Task Analysis workshop. He has served on AFP’s Board of Directors since 2018, including roles as Vice Chair, Secretary, and Chair of the Board.
The Association of Finance Professionals of Atlantic Canada represents finance professionals across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador, with members specializing in treasury operations, risk management, financial services, and corporate finance.
