Join Innovation, Learning & Leadership Specialist Laurie Cook of Chutzpah Consulting to learn how to become more proactive instead of reactive in dealing with Covid-19. This interactive, online workshop will show you how to not just use Scenario Planning on your own, but also how you could involve other people on your leadership team, your employees and other stakeholders in helping you to innovate in a way so you can not just survive, but thrive.
If there is one thing we can count on, it is that the world is a complex and chaotic place. Covid-19 has just made it more so. Organizations that want to move beyond the shock and a day-to-day mindset of struggle related to Covid-19 will find Scenario Planning a very useful tool to help them do that. In this uniquely interactive session, you will learn:
Laurie is an expert in adult learning, leadership and innovation. As such, she creates unique interactive learning experiences to help community organizations, business and government go beyond the typical style of ‘download’ learning.
She is also President of the Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet) which specializes in supporting the development of more inclusive, generative and democratic economies. Laurie has a Masters in Adult Education specializing in Community Development from St. Francis Xavier University and is also a new PhD student in Educational Studies with Acadia University.
One of Laurie’s passions these days is figuring out how to do online learning differently. Whether the topic is Scenario Planning, Governance, Teambuilding or Leadership , Laurie is always looking for ways to help people think critically about what their situation is, and to make sure learning they are doing is directly relevant to their own goals and aspirations.
Building on her recent article for the Chamber’s magazine, Business Voice, called ‘Don’t Wait to Innovate’ - Laurie is actively looking for ways to support organizations to go beyond feeling overwhelmed and like their world is out of control. Learning how to plan for a variety of scenarios is just one topic in development. Laurie is also available for custom coaching.
