Are you ready for an audit?
This presentation will address the top 10 issues companies face with calculating and applying for the CEWS or CERS programs. Many businesses are preparing these applications without the assistance of a tax advisor. While the calculations may seem straightforward on the surface, the underlying tax legislation is extremely complex. Our team of tax specialists have made understanding these rules a priority since March 2020 and recognize a need in our community to share what we have learned.
Our experts have identified several common errors that may result in a need to amend your claims (or a reassessment and repayment should you be selected for CRA review or audit).
Our interactive webinar will help you to gain comfort over your calculations and provide you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Key Takeaways
- Learn how the CEWS/CERS programs work and how are they changing
- Understand about the issues and areas that are often misunderstood
- Find out if your CEWS/CERS calculations will stand up to CRA scrutiny
