Shining Waters Marina and Boatyard is your waterfront gateway to explore beautiful St. Margaret’s Bay and its many islands and beaches. Only 20 minutes from Peggy’s Cove and 40 minutes from Halifax Waterfront, its a short drive or even lovelier coastal cruise by water!
The full-service marina and boatyard offer vessel maintenance services with an onsite chandlery and quick grab grocery. The marina is also a certified Canadian Customs arrival site for visiting boaters, as well as a Freedom Boat Club location.
Launch your boat or kayak onsite or rent a stand-up paddleboard or boat towable to have fun on the water. Whether you’re visiting for the day or want to have fun on the water all week, Shining Waters Marina offers both hourly and weekly equipment rentals.
After a day on the water, enjoy craft beer and pub-style snacks from Cavicchi’s ‘On the Water’ at the onsite Saltbox Brewing Taproom (Summer 2024). Relax on the large waterfront patio and stay for local live music or secure tickets to one of the great events/ show nights. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful location!
