Join the Halifax Chamber and DASC for an evening of in-person networking at their location in Burnside!

DASC is a non-profit social enterprise providing opportunities for adults with an intellectual disability. In addition to vocational day programs, we run businesses from our facility in Burnside. State of the art boardroom rentals, packaging and assembly, fulfillment, mailing services, printing and copying, and promotional button manufacturing are just a few of our services. All of the money from our businesses goes to support the Being, Belonging and Becoming of adults with intellectual disabilities.

• Mandatory COVID-19 Immunization Proof: Original proof of full vaccination records are acceptable in paper and digital formats, as well as clear photos, screenshots, and photocopies. In addition, we will require two pieces of identification. More information on Proof of Vaccination can be found here. All Halifax Chamber of Commerce staff are double vaccinated.
• Masks: To limit any potential health risks, staff and attendees are required to wear a mask. For attendees who don’t have, masks will be provided at registration free of charge.  
• Handshakes, high fives, or hugs: We understand there may be close friends you see at our events, and if a mutual physical embrace like a handshake, high five or hug happens, that’s okay – if both individuals are comfortable and provide consent. 
• Physical Distancing: While physical distancing rules have been lifted, we still encourage attendees to respect the choice of other attendees. Please ask if you would like to approach someone with whom you do not already know their level of comfort. 
• Sanitizer Stations: Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue, including at registration. All attendees must sanitize at registration before entering.
