ACCESSIBILITY: IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is an Opportunity:
To celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities.
To recognize the efforts of individuals, communities and workplaces that are actively working to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion.
We all benefit from a society and an economy without barriers to inclusion. When persons with disabilities can participate in all aspects of society, including accessing employment, resources and services, it enriches Canada’s economy.

We invite you to join us for a discussion with Patrick Sullivan (President & CEO, Halifax Chamber of Commerce), Jessica Ward (Project Manager, Reachability) and Dawn Stegen (Interim Executive Director, Accessibility Directorate) for an overview of the Accessibility Act – which recognizes accessibility as a human right and sets a goal of an accessible Nova Scotia by 2030.
In this interactive webinar, you'll get an overview of the Accessibility Act and how it impacts business. We will then touch on how you can make your business more inclusive through available grants, training opportunities and tips from the experts.
