Melanie Little is Co-founder of vlife - a social enterprise platform connecting support local customers with more small indie businesses.
A home-educating, mompreneur of two from Halifax, Melanie is passionate about leveraging technology to connect people with solutions that help make the world a better place.
I am a curious guy, and the quote I respond to the most comes from the great management thinker, Peter Drucker, “The important and difficult job is never to find the right answers, it is to find the right question”. I see questions as the way to understand others and to keep learning, I always want to keep on learning.Outside of work, being on the bike is essential for me – it is ‘cycle-therapy’ and a great way to keep your head clear and in the right space.
My work is in supporting entrepreneurs and leaders to find their way to innovation and growth that creates enduring and competitive companies. Working with clients, I combine the qualitative and the quantitative, questions and data, to simplify complexity supporting evidence-based decision-making around opportunities and problems.
I have been working with entrepreneurs and leaders seeking growth since 2003. My continued research work enables me to provide current and timely insights into key business growth issues. With my combination of financial and strategy backgrounds as well as positive psychology, I have an expertise in the sustainable growth of organizations and leaders.
In 2015 I founded The Mindset Project to research and develop solutions centered on entrepreneurs, decision making, and overall wellness. More than eight published articles have highlighted the working environment for entrepreneurs and their teams to perform at their best.
Following the development of outcomes from The Mindset Project, I founded WorkInsights in 2017 to develop a business analytic tool to understand working environment and the capacity for innovation, growth and wellness.
