About Us
Partners for Care (PFC) is a nonprofit partner of Nova Scotia Health that brings organizations together to invest in healthier communities by focusing on patients, providers and communities across Nova Scotia.
Our Mission is to form partnerships that make life easier for patients, health providers, and communities.
Our Vision is positive and accessible healthcare experiences with sustainable businesses and partnerships.
The Mandate of PFC is to centred around three main priorities:
-Priority 1. Enable new access to healthcare for Nova Scotians
-Priority 2. Sustain the viability of existing programs
-Priority 3. Complement Nova Scotia Health: Improve patient and health provider experiences
We execute Priorities 2 and 3 of this mandate through a variety of programs focused on the QEII Health Sciences Centre campuses. At these locations, we offer:
• Parking Services
• Staff Support for Transportation Options
• Staff Wellness Programming
• Patient Wellness Programming
• Leasing Services
We are executing Priority 1 by investing in the first WellTide Health in the District of Lunenburg as a tangible demonstration of our commitment to transforming community healthcare delivery.
WellTide Health, opening in Spring 2026, will be an accessible, collaborative centre that brings multiple health promotion, wellness, and community services together under one roof, serving as a prototype for strengthening healthcare delivery in rural Nova Scotia.
