On November 4th, 2025, the Minister of Finance François-Philippe Champagne will present Budget 2025, the first federal budget under the Carney government.
While it’s not known what tax measures will be released, there is a focus on investing more to grow the Canadian economy and programs for affordability. Other possible tax measures could include protecting the environment, support for essential programs for individuals and families, and programs for businesses, including those affected by tariffs.
