BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT NETWORK: September 2017
Do You Own A Small Business? Do You Feel That You Are Paying Too Much In Taxes?
Join us over your lunch hour to learn about your tax responsibilities and the proposed tax policies currently on the mind of all business owners. This workshop consists of a 40-minute presentation, followed by a question and answer period where you can get your tax questions answered by one of our tax experts.
FBC Works Proactively Every Day to Put More Money In Our Members Pockets Over the Long Term
In 1952, FBC began with a mission to help farmers and small business owners minimize their taxes. Today, the business remains family-owned while having grown to 13 offices across Canada, including our Atlantic Canada location here in Dartmouth. We are a full-service tax firm providing year-round tax planning and consulting to help our clients minimize their taxes and maximize their assets. Nearly 20,000 farm and small business owners pay less tax because of their year-round Membership with FBC.
Learn about your tax responsibilities as a business owner, followed by a question and answer period where you can get your tax questions answered by our Local Tax Consultant, Clément Forest-Leblanc.
Clément is from the Magdalen Islands in Quebec and has lived in Halifax for the past 23 years. As a Local Tax Consultant with FBC, he enjoys working with small business owners to help them keep more of their hard-earned money in their pocket while navigating CRA’s extensive and complicated Income Tax Act. Clement graduated from Dalhousie University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree.
Prior to joining FBC, He spent 2 years at PwC, learning the fundamentals of audit, tax, and advisory services. In his spare time, you can find him on the golf course losing balls, playing hockey, spending time on the lake, or with his Bernese Mountain Dog, Piper.
AT FBC, WE MAKE LIFE LESS TAXING
