BUSINESS AFTER HOURS: Easter Seals Nova Scotia - New Leaf Enterprises

Join us for an evening of great networking and food at Easter Seals Nova Scotia and learn more about New Leaf Enterprises – their café and catering and supported employment programs!
About New Leaf Enterprises:
The need for secure and fulfilling employment is as important for Nova Scotians with disabilities as it is for able bodied individuals. Having employment opportunities for people with disabilities is essential for creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
Learning new skills and bringing those skills to a workplace increases a person’s economic empowerment, independence, and self-confidence, while decreasing social isolation and stereotypes for people living with disabilities.
The New Leaf Enterprises works with employers in the community and our clients to facilitate job training and subsequent employment within the labour market. This highly successful program for youth and adults has generated multiple employment partnerships, both in the private business and government sectors, and has helped many employers become truly inclusive.
New Leaf also offers job training on site at our Centre in Burnside, with a full commercial kitchen operated by our staff and trainees, offering catering services and two cafes in the HRM.
Please join us for Business After Hours to enjoy some of our delicious food offerings and learn more about how you can become an inclusive employer.
