About Us
In 2019 we started selling our sauces at local farmers markets with a bigger vision in mind. In 2020 that vision came to fruition when Maria’s Pantry & Pasta Bar opened in downtown Dartmouth.
Inspired by his Nonna Maria, Chef Dolente grew up learning to cook and making pasta alongside her. Chef Dolente’s family moved to Canada from Italy in 1960 and growing up eating Maria’s food and learning to cook it himself, it was something he always dreamed of sharing with others.
