About Us
In 2003, Jane Wright took a leap of faith opening Jane's on the Common in the North End of Halifax.
Jane expanded her passion to the catering domain. With the launch of Jane's Next Door (JND) Catering and Events, Jane and the team took everything they learned and packaged it. However, Jane’s Next Door remained limited to the North-end Halifax area.
Jane’s was ready to expand its wings and caught the attention of Chef Tahir when he was looking to quench his thirst to expand fine dining experience to everyone. In 2021, Chef took up the challenge of leading Jane’s Next Door by adding professional muscle to the home-cooked delicacies.
