BNI, Business Network International, is the world’s largest business referral organization. It is committed to its core values, beginning with Givers Gain. BNI is a global network consisting of groups of local business people, called chapters. Chapter members grow their businesses by building long term relationships based on the trust that develops between members. Each chapter acts as the marketing team for every one of its members. Members hone their business and professional skills through their interactions with fellow members and the clients to whom their fellow members recommend them. There is a commitment of money and time as members are required to pay a membership fee and attendance (as well as participation) is expected at the weekly meetings. BNI operates in 75 countries. In 2018, with approximately 240,000 members, BNI generated over $14 billion in closed business for its members.
