Richard D’souza
CEO & President, CyberClan
Richard D’souza, president and owner of CyberClan since its inception in 2006, brings over 20 years of comprehensive cybersecurity experience in areas including incident response services, computer forensics, secure architecture, security assessment, audits, cyber extortion and dark web investigation.
Richard has conducted hundreds of vulnerability assessment and penetration tests, as well as business transformation computing efforts and architecture decisions in various IT environments including the gaming industry, government, foreign embassy, insurance, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, and engineering.
His deep knowledge in identification and prioritization, in addition to authorship of critical cloud security architecture decisions, requirements, guidelines, policies, and procedures across multiple domains provide expertise to lead in any complex security enterprise.
In addition, Richard was the Managing Director of Operations and Head of Information Security at UK based Accredited Test Facility (ATF) where he established the ATF’s Canadian operations with particular emphasis of assisting sales, business development, security audits, and compliance testing.
Chris Roberts
Chief Information Security Officer, CyberClan
Chris Roberts, Chief Information Security Officer of CyberClan, has served as a vCISO or advisor for several entities and organizations around the globe. His most recent projects are focused within the deception, identity, cryptography, and services space.
In the 25+ years of experience, he has founded or worked with organizations specializing in OSINT/SIGING/HUMINT research, intelligence gathering, cryptography, and deception technologies. Chris has been deeply involved with security R&D, consulting, and advisory services, while also being a leading voice in risk, maturity, collaboration and communication across the industry.
Considered one of the world’s foremost experts on counter threat intelligence and vulnerability research within the Information Security industry, he is highly regarded for his wealth of experience with regulations such as GLBA, GDPR, HIPAA, HITECH, FISMA, and NERC/FERC, and standards such as CMS, ISO, and NIST. As such, Chris is regularly featured in the media, industry events, podcasts, and documentaries, including CNN, The Washington Post, WIRED, Business Insider, USA Today, Forbes, Newsweek, BBC News, Wall Street Journal, among others.
Of notable interest, Chris was the researcher who gained global attention in 2015 for demonstrating the linkage between various aviation systems, both on the ground and while in the air that allowed the exploitation of attacks against flight control system.
