Please click "Register" to add your name to a waitlist.\n\n\n\nThe Halifax Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer a round of FREE online training programs to help grow your business in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour\, Skills\, and Immigration.\n\n\n\nThese training sessions are in high demand. Please only register if you are 100% committed to fully participating in this training. This is a 40 hour course and you will be required to participate in 80% of the sessions in order to receive the certificate.\n\n\n	\n	Preference will be given to Chamber members. Non-members may register\, you will be contacted about your future membership.\n	\n	\n	There are only 12 spaces available for this session\, if the session is full\, please add yourself to the waitlist and you will be contacted if a spot opens up.\n	\n	\n	We are limiting this training to 1 employee representative per organization in order to allow more people the opportunity to participate\n	\n\n\n\n \nTRAINING OVERVIEW:\n\nPerformance Management training is a 10 week program that will start on\, Tuesday\, September 17 and take place once per week every TUESDAY from 1:00PM - 5:00PM.\n\n \n\n\n\nPerformance Management Training Summary:\n\n \n\nManaging employee performance is an essential part of being an effective manager and running successful business.  Good performance management practices allow the organization to communicate goals and helps to ensure HR decisions are based on objective criteria. Managers benefit by addressing workplace issues\, improving moral and increasing productivity. And\, employees benefit by understanding improvement areas\, developing their skills and being recognized for their accomplishments. \n\n \n\nResearch shows clear expectations\, regular feedback\, opportunities to develop and working for a caring supervisor are all drivers of employee engagement and retention.   In this course you will learn how to implement performance management best practices that align with current workplace realities. Genevieve has delivered over 2000 hours of HR\, Leadership\, Communication and Change Management training.
