FACE is a national and bilingual Black-led non-profit organization focused on providing resources and information to the Black community across canada with the aim of accelerating wealth creation for Canadian of African descent. \n\n\n\n\n\nMEET YOUR PRESENTER:\n\n\n\nTiffany Callender\, President and CEO-\n\nFACE\n\n\nTiffany Callender is a community developer and social entrepreneur. She has spent 16 years developing and implementing community-based programs that support Montreal's Black community in the non-profit sector. Under her leadership as the Director of one of Quebec's oldest Black organizations\, she successfully secured 8.3 million $ in support of multiple initiatives. She was recognized\, in 2020\, by MIPAD as one of the 100 most influential people of African descent under 40.\n\n\n\nIn 2021\, Tiffany is the co-founder of the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE) of which she is today the CEO. Founded by a coalition of Canadian Black business support organizations\, FACE co-developed with the Government of Canada the historic Black Entrepreneurship Program and now administers the $160 million Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund.\n\n\n\nTiffany has submitted recommendations for policy change to public institutions\, notably as a signatory of Montreal's consultation on racism and systemic discrimination as well as Quebec's Laurent Commission regarding the overrepresentation of Black children in the Youth Protection.
