Gratitude @ Work
Did you know that Gratitude @ Work will increase productivity up to 50%?
Why are so many successful leaders switching to appreciation? Did you know that appreciating your team can affect employee engagement, performance, creativity, or job satisfaction? Gratitude helps decrease anxiety, improve mental health, achieving goals, productivity and innovation.
It will also help manage or avoid unnecessary stress. Don’t worry your team, co-workers, or your boss won’t take advantage of you when you show gratitude at the workplace. You might even be surprised with results!
You say too many decisions are out of your hands, demands, difficult conversations, deadlines, colleagues or managers, make it a challenge to be appreciative and grateful. In this session we’ll discuss:
- Psychological effects of appreciation at the workplace
- Benefits of gratitude at work
- Tips to cultivate a culture of gratitude
As a team leader or player, you will want to take gratitude to work!
Our Presenter: Recognize Your Potential (RYP) creates and fosters a Growth Mindset. Floria Aghdamimehr is the catalyst and facilitator from information to transformation. Floria has developed Performance Unleashed program to enhance trust and respect, while building a strong engaged team that collaborates and improves Productivity & Innovation in the workplace!
Floria has many years of experience working with Correctional Services Canada, Dalhousie, RCMP, Trade Centre Limited, and Teachers Provincial Professional Development conferences, to name a few. Floria is a consultant, trainer, and speaker for Professional Development events and conferences. Floria is serves on Creating a Positive Business Environment task force, co-chair of Partners for Human Rights and Ability Employers.

Business Development Network is a monthly session for members to network and listen to a fellow Chamber Member speak about a topic or area of expertise in their field. Presentations are approximately 45 minutes in length, leaving time for a question/answers session and networking. The session is co-hosted by the Member Services Coordinator and the Speaker.
