GET YOUR TICKETS HERE!\n\n\n\nThe Halifax Chamber of Commerce is offering a unique opportunity to see Halifax on the water with Wine on the Waves: A Chamber Wine + Cheese! Join us for an exciting evening aboard the Tall Ship Silva and sail along the harbour with your fellow Chamber members. \n\n\n\nWe are proud to be partnering with Murphy's on the Water and Benjamin Bridge to provide you with this exclusive cruise on the historic Tall Ship Silva. Your safety is our first priority and we will be following all safety protocols to enjoy an evening of networking\, supporting the local economy\, and encouraging tourism in our beloved province. \n\n\n\nCOVID-19 Public Health Protocols:\n\nFor your comfort and enjoyment\, the Tall Ship Silva is operating at 1/2 capacity and its main deck has been laid out in marked 'Zones'\, with plexiglass barriers to enable guests to have their own space aboard. The taxi ride is not included in the price of the ticket. \n\n\n\nAs parking spaces are limited\, we encourage you to carpool where possible or arrange a designated driver to drop you off and pick you up. \n\n\n\nLet's be safe and have fun!\n\n \n\nMEET YOUR TASTING HOSTS:\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nAlexandre Morozov\, Assistant Wine Maker\, Benjamin Bridge\n\n\n\nAlexandre Morozov\, originally from Russia\, grew up in Montreal then travelled internationally to develop his winemaking craft before finding a permanent home at sparkling wine house\, Benjamin Bridge\, located in the Gaspereau Valley\, Nova Scotia. \n\n\n\nAlex studied at the Universidad Juan Agust n Maza in Mendoza\, Argentina earning his Bachelor of Science in Enology in 2014. But his career began far earlier on his family vineyards in California and Argentina. After graduating\, Alex studied with local and international winemakers in Niagara\, Bordeaux\, and Mendoza.\n\n\n\nIn 2013\, he completed a harvest at Benjamin Bridge before his return as assistant winemaker in 2016. For the past five years\, he has been an integral member of Benjamin Bridge's winemaking team\, working alongside head winemaker Jean-Benoit Deslauriers.\n\n\n\nAmong his many responsibilities\, Alex has led the intricate and detailed riddling and disgorging process for Benjamin Bridge's acclaimed m thode classique wines. His talents have elevated the quality of these sparkling wines releases. When his busy winemaking schedule permits\, Alex is an enthusiastic - and multilingual ambassador of Benjamin Bridge wines across the country and beyond.\n\n \n\n\n\nSean Buckland\, Vice President of Business Development\, Ambassatours Gray Line\n\n\n\nSean Buckland is a graduate of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers Certification program. \n\n\n\nIn 2004 Sean Co-Founded Valley Wine Tours Nova Scotia's original and only Sommelier led tours of the Annapolis Valley Wineries.
