Through candid discussion\, you'll gain insights\, share challenges\, and walk away with a clear next step to improve mental health in your workplace.\n\n\n\nAbout the Presenter:\n\n\nHeather Beaton\, BSc(OT) Reg(NS)\n\n\nHeather (she/her/elle) is a licensed Occupational Therapist\, clinician and business owner with over 20 years of experience working in public and private Health and Wellness systems. She is a graduate from Dalhousie University with degrees in Biology and Occupational Therapy\, a certified ProSci Change Management practitioner. She has experience working for IWK Health and Nova Scotia Health in a variety of clinical\, leadership and consulting roles. Her private business is called Labyrinth Wellness and focuses on working with small to medium sized businesses to build capacity in mental health literacy\, workplace mental health\, change management and health.  \n\n\n\nHeather is an Affiliate instructor for Opening Minds/Mental Health Commission of Canada and has been facilitating Mental Health First Aid Certification and "The Working Minds" for 8 years both in-person and virtually. Heather's passion is facilitating and developing tailored workshops for government departments\, non-profits\, and businesses.\n\n\n\nHeather has expertise in  mental health and wellness\, change leadership and management\,  behaviour change counseling\,  health system navigation and adult education.\n\n\n\nHeather likes to increase her own mental wellness by being in nature with her family\, meditation\, yoga\, kayaking and biking.
