Martina is also the Founder of Life Out Loud Mental Health Consulting & Creatives\, a professional and specialized service that utilizes a combination of platforms to expand conversations related to mental health and wellness in the workplace and life in general.\n\n \n\nIn 2018\, Martina went on medical leave from work\, related to experiencing significant symptoms related to burnout\, which ultimately ended her 10-year career as a Personal Development Counsellor and Facilitator. Through her struggles with burnout\, depression\, and anxiety\, Martina decided to turn her pain into purpose re-committing to living her life on purpose. Martina uses her experiences to encourage others by facilitating essential discussions around mental health and wellness this was the birthplace of Life Out Loud.\n\n \n\nMartina holds a Human Services Diploma in Addictions Counselling at NSCC and a Bachelor of Arts Degree\, Psychology Concentration (Hons) at Mount Saint Vincent University. She spent over ten years working as a Personal Development Counsellor and Facilitator\, in the non-profit sector. In addition to her education\, Martina is a certified Mental Health First Aid Canada Instructor.\n \n\nLyne Brun\, Supervisor of the Health & Wellness Department\, NS Power\n\nLyne Brun has been with NS Power for 26 years and is the Supervisor of the Health & Wellness department. She was instrumental is developing the NS Power workplace mental health strategy in 2012 and continues to work with employees at all stages of their career to help improve their employee experience from day one until retirement.\n\n\n\nShe has presented at national conferences as a person with lived experience and strives to show our greater community to reduce stigma and to show that there is no health without mental health.\n\n\n\nA certified peer-supporter\, she is a recipient of the Mental Health Foundation's Inspiring Lives award as well as a nominee for Canada 150's Change Makers.\n\n\n\nShe was recognized by the Nova Scotia Legislature for her work in mental health. She currently serves on the Conference Board of Canada\, Healthy Workplace Council Advisory Board. \n\n\n\nIn her spare time\, she is an active volunteer with the Halifax Police's Victim Services Unit as well as serving as a leader for the Halifax Police Youth Program.\n \n\nDr. Ashley Margeson\, Cornerstone Naturopathic Inc.\n\nDr. Ashley Margeson an entrepreneur\, naturopathic doctor and questioner with an unshakeable thirst for diving deep in helping you become the person you were always meant to be. \n\n\n\nShe is a born and raised Bluenoser with a bit of an accent\, a strong advocate for supporting women in the workforce\, and is an obsessive learner who spends her time reading\, researching and hosting her podcast\, The Superwoman Code. She is obsessed with periods and the role they play in our lives.\n\n \n\nClinically\, she helps women bounce back from burnout\, balance their hormones and a design a life where their health works for them\, not against them. To top it off\, she's been named one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 under 40 year old's and is one of the youngest members of the Women's Presidents' Organization. School\, Bustle and Cosmopolitan Magazine. \n\n \nDarryl Council\, Coach\, Blended Athletics\n\nDarryl is a former US Marine of 8 years\, having served as a Presidential Guard under George W Bush Jr as well as an infantry man with 2 deployments around the globe.\n\n\n\nHe holds a Bachelor's of Science in Health in Wellness\, is certified as a Primal Health Coach and holds several certifications in the fitness industry.\n\n\n\nAs a lifelong martial artist\, fitness enthusiast and self taught meditator\, Darryl uses his past experiences to teach clients and students the importance of Holistic Health. To Darryl\, the mind and the body are one unit\, and when one is worked upon\, the other surely shall improve.\n\n\n\nDarryl specializes in teaching/ learning about the incredible benefits that arise from developing one's Self Awareness and the potential for growth that results from developing these seemingly latent abilities that all people possess. \n\n\n\nDarryl is a father\, a husband\, a coach and an introvert who has brought himself back from the depths of despair and wants nothing more than to alleviate some of the suffering that takes place on this planet by sharing his skills and knowledge with anyone who seeks aid.
