Hosted by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce\, this series will feature a wide range of topics on how to survive and thrive. \n\n \n\nMindfulness and Resilience - Introduction to Search Inside Yourself\n\nDeveloped at Google\, and based in San Francisco\, Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) teaches practical mindful leadership and emotional intelligence tools to bring out the best in people. Participants in the Search Inside Yourself (SIY) programs learn ways to develop greater focus\, self-awareness and resilience - key skills for today's work and home environment particularly given the stress and changes due to COVID19. \n\n \n\nOur Presenter\n\n\n\n\nBryan Burns\n\nSIY Certified Teacher\n\nBryan has spent his career in entrepreneurial organizations and started his own consulting company in 2005. As an athlete he learned some mindfulness practices and has had a meditation practice for nearly 20 years.\n\n\n\nHe also practices Ashtanga yoga and loves paddling his SUP board when he's not with his young family.\n\n\n\nHe is accredited in the Bar-on EQi\, a measure of emotional intelligence.
